Dominica has made huge strides over the past ten years to diversify its range of accommodations, which used to consist almost entirely of B&Bs and small, dingy hotels. So far, the efforts seem to be paying off. Perhaps more than anywhere else in the Caribbean, Dominica has embraced the concept of the eco-lodge and put energy into the restoration of historical structures.
