Venice: Getting There

Airport Marco Polo airport (VCE) is located about 7 miles north of the city on the mainland. The best way to get to the city from the airport is by motoscafo (shuttle boat), which costs 10 Euros and takes one hour from the airport to Piazza San Marco.

Airlines Delta and Alitalia fly non-stop from New York’s JFK airport. Most other flights from North America to Venice involve changing planes in Rome or Milan.
